Magazine Inspiration

Cliché Magazine.

Is a online magazine based in LA about fashion, music, culture and entertainment. This magazine is an inspiration for my own due to it's on the edge creative style, but also simple front covers- both the pictures, the fonts and the colour schemes all work together in both a simple but outstanding way. They music covered in this magazine is also an alternative genre so helps me see what kind of thing my target audience might enjoy.

This simple black and white photo, with only red and white writing is again very simple, but looks individual and unique due to the 'hand-writing' fonts and has a feel to it I hope I can achieve through my own magazine.

Both this cover and double page spread link due to the basic colours repeated through them both and I personally enjoy the three together. The layout of this double page also inspires me to keep my work organised in a layout, but with a few added creative pieces so as not to overwhelm the reader but makes it look interesting as well.

These two front covers are my personal favourites due to the first's muted but classy colours that gives the magazine a different feel every time a new one is released. The second is the sort of colour scheme I am aiming for and helps me see how the photo and the cover lines seem to tie in with one another and make it look professional.
